Thank You Card

I received a nice note from Deanna O. about enjoying the blog. She gave me Mary's email...if any of you would like it, please email the account that belongs to this blog and I will send it to you. After reading Wyatt's article in the Beacon about the earthquake while he was in China, it would be interesting to hear from him and keep up with his travels! If you read this Wyatt, we'd love to hear from you!
I'm hoping many of you will at some time, contribute something to the blog...I hope you are not afraid to give it a try. If you are not quite sure how to do it, or have any questions, email me at this blog's address or call me at home! For those of you who are posting, thank you! It keeps the blog interesting.
Also, if anyone else in the family has a blog, you can add it to the "Visit other Family Blog Pages". I am also adding "Tribe of Adeline" on here, so you can all get a little taste of another extended family blog!
Keep the posts coming!
Pam

1970 Guess where ?

This famous photo was taken at the request of the homeowners. What makes this photo special is all the snow in the yard.there was 8 feet of snow in the yard. The owners did not leave the house for 2 months. They said it was crazy weather just terrible.
So where is this place?

Hint; Not a relative

Horse Powered Baler - Cannon Falls - 1895

This one is just interesting to look at. You are looking NNW from a position N of the Spring Garden Hill road. The white house, on the left behind the barn is thought to be the house where Duane Hermanson lives today. Also you can see the roof of the school near the center.

Because it would make little sense to even bale the hay if it were to stay on the property, we know that it was likely headed next for the livery stable.

Put Your Thinking Hat On

Here is a picture just waiting for people to indentify them. They are all numbered so grab a peice of scratch paper and give it a shot. The photo was taken at the Lundell homefarm. For a starter for the younger generations taking the challange, #4 is Hilma (Benson) Lundell and #10 is the popular neighbor, Rudolph Pearson.

Lookers

By the looks of the counter, the blog is getting lots of lookers, but no one to post. You don't have to put pictures on here. You can just type to let us know what you are up to, too! I'll bet once a couple of you start, it will take off like wild fire!

For some of you long lost relatives or for some of you who haven't seen me in a long while, I am Pam (Duden) Pagel. My husband Ken and I have 4 children and 3 grandchildren.
