Rib Fest at Jesse Fox's House in Red Wing

Jesse had a yard full at his picnic Aug,16. Jesse just built a fish pond in his back yard.The kids had a lot of fun watching the fish.The weather was great .The beer was cold.And the ribs were delicicous.There was a big turn out and no shortage of food. Thanks Jesse for a fun day. Mark

1st Thursday in town

We met downtown last night for 1st Thursday. Finally got a picture with all the great grandkids. It's not very easy to get 5 little ones to sit still and look at the camera all at the same time! (L to R: Henry, Talan, Macy, Landon and Miley)

For those of you who don't get the "Today" magazine, go to town to find your free copy. (Econo foods does not have them....I know White Rock Bank and the Beacon office have the magazines and there are probably other places in town that also carry it).
There is a story in there about the tradition Rutherford started on the 4th of July at Hannah's Bend Park.

A Visit to the park

Grandma Rayleen and Grandma Pam took Macy, Talan and Landon to the Hastings Roadside Park this morning, before it got too hot out. Going down the big slide in order are, Landon, Macy and then Talan. (Click on the little arrow to play the video!) We went to lunch at Culver's and then headed home to the air conditioning for nap time!
