1970 Guess where ?
This famous photo was taken at the request of the homeowners. What makes this photo special is all the snow in the yard.there was 8 feet of snow in the yard. The owners did not leave the house for 2 months. They said it was crazy weather just terrible.
So where is this place?
Hint; Not a relative

Who ever it was, must have had lots of food (and toilet paper) on hand! Bet they had cabin fever!

Was it at Alice and Lucille Pearsons's house?
Yes, It was Alice and Lucille Pearson's House. Wayne Lundell was called to take pictures. He had a fancy camera and was always the one taking pictures.Thats why we dont have many of him, cause he was always the photogragher.I took his camera to school and showed it to teacher J.Fritz (photogragher teacher). He said he has never seen one like it. Ma still has it . Thats the story.

I never knew Alice, but if she was like Lucille, she had enough toilet paper to last more than 2 months!

Alice was very kind. She,like Lucille never ran out of anything. She always told old storys and loved to laugh.I think there was a little more organization with Alice. One year at Christmas I asked Alice what Lucille gave her for Christmas. She said $10.00.Then I asked Lucille what Alice gave her.She said $10.00. Then we all laughed.I wonder if it was the same ten. Mark
Another thing about Alice is that she was a great cook and plenty of food was always available. This was before the time when Lucille started hauling cookies and stuff down to the locker for 5 year storage.
One year Russ Zimmerman and I told Jack Lorentz how great of a cook Alice was and how they literally piled the food on you. Well, Jack didn't believe it so Russ and I took Jack on night and we went to visit Alice and Lucille. We knew, of course, if you stay long enough you will be fed.
I'm not sure what time we got there, but it wasn't long after when Alice went out to the kitchen and started stiring. It must have been about 10 PM when she covered the dining room table with food. We ate and ate until we were stuffed. Next Alice came with the dessert. After that it was cake and cookies.
By this time Jack was a believer but he was struggling to get that last peice of cookie down when Alice looked at him and said, "Have another cookie Mr. Lorentz." Jack couldn't take it any more and busted out laughing, thereby spitting the cookie crumbs out all over the table. Russ and I laughed so much that tears started too form.
Then I looked over at Alice. There she was, laughing along with us.
